Owner and Massage Therapist

My fascination with human performance and biomechanics started early. In high school, I threw myself into weightlifting and men’s gymnastics, two disciplines that demand extreme strength, mobility, and absolute body control. I didn’t just want to perform; I wanted to understand exactly how the body worked. That curiosity naturally led me to design training programs for my friends, sparking what would become a lifelong career in coaching.

Because I was always pushing my limits across multiple sports, I quickly learned a harsh reality: you can only train as hard as you can recover. To keep my body from breaking down, I had to take my recovery just as seriously as my workouts. I dove deep into exercise science, learning everything I could about soft tissue therapy, holistic nutrition, and structural maintenance.

After high school, I officially began my career as a personal trainer and gymnastics coach. During this time, my passion for combat sports took over. I dedicated myself to Sambo and Judo, eventually competing at the highest levels to become a 2x National Sambo Champion and a Pan-American Bronze Medalist.

Those experiences culminated in opening my own martial arts academy. But watching my athletes and personal training clients train reinforced what I had learned years ago: people are dealing with chronic pain, and they need real, clinical recovery.

That is why I created Spartan Bodywork & Recovery. I took a decade of personal training, elite athletic experience, and dedicated clinical bodywork education, and combined them into a practice decided to help anyone, from competitive fighters to everyday people, overcome their pain, restore their mobility, and build a more resilient body.
